Dr. Rosalie Suescun is Senior Psychotherapist at the Complex Trauma Treatment Center Boston. She has over 25 years’ experience treating adults and couples with histories of complex trauma and associated conditions, including PTSD, Complex PTSD and Dissociative Disorders. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the prestigious Two Brattle Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
For over two decades, Dr. Suescun served as a clinician, supervisor and consultant at the acclaimed Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts. There she provided trauma-focused psychological testing and evaluation, clinical supervision, and intensive individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. She provided extensive post-crisis assessment, treatment and extended therapeutic aftercare to World Trade Center survivors of the 9/11 attacks. She also supported Hurricane Katrina victims as a member of IBM’s International Crisis Organization.
Dr. Suescun has mastered a wide variety of evidence-based and innovative trauma treatment models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP).
